NOTICE

Subject: Eligibility for admission to Post Diploma DNB  (PD-DNB)

Kind Attention: Candidates in Merit List of DNB PDCET July 2015 

(i)            As per para 3.1 of Information Bulletin for PDCET, eligibility criteria for July 2015 Admission Session is: 

Candidates who have passed the final examination leading to the award of Post Graduate Diploma from Indian Universities which are duly recognized as per provisions of Indian Medical Council Act 1956, / Govt. of India i.e. have passed/passing the final examinations for Post-graduate diploma on or before 30^th June 2015 can apply for the Post diploma CET examination in the same Broad specialty.  

Candidates shall have completed his/her 2 years of post diploma training by 30^th June 2015. 

(ii)           As per PG Medical Education Regulations 2000 regarding Post Diploma Courses at various Medical Colleges 

The period of training for obtaining a postgraduate Diploma shall be two completed years including the examination period. 

“All the candidates joining the Post Graduate training programme shall work as ‘Full Time Residents’ during the period of training and shall attend not less than 80% (Eighty percent) of the imparted training during each academic year including assignments, assessed full time responsibilities and participation in all facets of the educations process”. 

(iii)          The candidates appearing in the counseling and merit based allocation of seats for PDCET July 2015 are required to comply with the eligibility criteria as per the information bulletin for PD-CET July 2015. 

(iv)         Candidates concerned are required to furnish a certificate from the competent authority of the Medical College/University concerned that the duration of training is in compliance with applicable rules governing the same and the Diploma Qualification has been awarded in compliance of the same thereof.
